Novel:The Absolute True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (230 pages) michelle read it in a winter weekend, meaning, it's an easy read /ri:d/ but best for Upper Intermediate and Advanced level students if you are also going to do some good analyses!
Read some excerpts of this novel (blog at a state-run language school in Spain. Hey, state-run schools of any sort in Spain are really good! It's not like in the USA! The same goes for public healthcare!)

Movie: Sherman Alexie wrote the screenplay of the movie "Smoke Signals". On the Net, we can buy the book, but we cannot buy the movie, because the DVD and VHS versions available are only for North America (Region 1, for the USA and Canada).
The orange book on your right is the screenplay, unexpensive and with a lovely intro.
