Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the post of Mathematics Teacher at Saint Anthony High School, as recently advertised.

I am a chemical engineer and have a master's degree in secondary teaching from The University of Malaga. Therefore, I have an in-deep understanding of the way teenagers learn and the factors that affect their development.

I worked as a substitute teacher for two months in San Cristobal High School. This gave me the opportunity to interact with students and parents, and I was always able to establish excellent working relationships with both.

I enclose my curriculum vitae, which will give you further details of my career to date.
