El Culín, by Susana Torija Herrero (Av2 Tues, 2010-11) - 190 words
El Culín is a new restaurant in Getafe. It is specialized in meals from Asturias (in the north of Spain). Marcelo, one of the most talented chefs in Madrid, is the owner. This popular cook is wellknown because of his ability roasting meat. He started his business last summer in Daoiz Street, near Carlos III University.
One of the strongest points about this place is its huge variety of meals and desserts, so all kind of tastes can be satisfied. Also, on weekdays it offers a cheap menu with three main courses and three second courses to choose from, dessert and coffee. Another good thing is that all the meals are home-made — even drinks like wine and liquors are made by Marcelo!
I would highly recommend this restaurant. Even if you dislike eating out, the good service you will receive and the high quality and variety of its meals will persuade you of going back again.
Personally, if I wanted to impress someone I would invite him or her to have a dinner in El Culín. If you get the chance, give it a try!
