In Search of the Meaning of Life
by Rodrigo N. G. (Y5C, 2006-07)
Everybody has wondered once in his life, “Who am I ?”, “Why am I here?”, “What is life’s ultimate goal?” Or what the meaning of life is.
We are used to creating the same reality all the time, I mean, we do the same things day by day and this fact does not allow us to develop our minds, our thoughts or even our feelings. At this point, we can pose the following questions, “What is reality?”, “Does reality exist?” or is it just something in our minds? To illustrate this point, let us consider these unusual questions: “How can we see the world as a real reality if the identity that establishes the world as real is intangible? In addition, we have infinite possibilities around us, “Why do we always repeat the same reality?” In fact, these would be good questions in order to be answered by a philosopher, but making an effort, we can think about it ourselves and to our surprise achieve the answer in a twinkle, our own answer, what contains something real for us.
More and more people are discovering that we live in a deeply mysterious world full of coincidences. I think as more of us awake to this mystery we will create a completely new worldview. From this perspective* we can see that humans have always felt insecure and disconnected from one another. Selfishness is responsible for all human conflicts. From this awareness we realize that we are here to share and take part in the long journey of evolution. The answer will appear from our hearts not from our minds as we thought. Not until we are aware of this perspective will we realize life’s goal: Being happy.
From my point of view we are here to be creators. We are much more of what we think. So we should MAKE KNOWN THE UNKNOWN -- OUR OWN INTUITION.
