Dear Mrs Sanders,
Thank you for your letter. I'm looking forward to getting to Brigthon to meet you and your family. In the photo that you sent me, you looked very happy.
I expect to get to Brighton on the first day of August because I finish my school in Russia on the last day of June but I've got lots of things to prepare for this trip. My mobile phone is 444.55.66.77 in case you need to give me a ring when I arrive at the station.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm eighteen years old. I'm tall and slim. I like reading books, going out with my friends, playing sports, listening to music but the thing that I like most is meeting people and visiting new places. I can eat and drink all sorts of things, but I don't drink alcohol. I don't smoke but I don't mind people smoking. I can share the room with other students although I'd like a room just for myself! I hope this doesn't sound selfish!
I'll be staying in Brigthon for two years! and when I finish the course I'll go back to Russia... but it all depends, I'm not sure yet, so don't worry!! if I can't stay in your house for more time I'll look for another place to stay.
Best wishes,
Ivan Terribly Cold
