Task: An article about the Mayan Riviera for a weekly magazine in 225-250 words
The Mayan Riviera: Paradise!
Planing your holidays can be hard, but not if you read these lines. If you are looking for an exciting holiday, let me recommend the Mayan Riviera. It's the ideal place for both fun and relaxing.
The Mayan Riviera is located in Mexico, particularly in the peninsula of Yucatan. Its capital is Cancun and all the beaches in Mayan Riviera are lapped by the Caribbean Sea. The official language of the country is Spanish, but most people also speak English.
On the Mayan Riviera you can find long beaches and amazing jungles. Furthermore, it is an impressive opportunity to know the Mayan culture, their habits, architecture and meals.
In this fantastic Caribbean place you can enjoy several sights. There are archaeological ruins like Tulum, Chichén Izá or Cobá. These are old towns and villas where you can imagine the lifestyle of the Mayan people. The architecture of these villas is amazing and views are spectacular because you can see the nicest areas of the beaches.
On the other hand, if you are looking for peace and quiet, the Mayan Riviera is your perfect destination. Waters are crystal clear and lukewarm and there are no sharks, so you can dive and swim safely! If you prefer to sunbathe, you can do it under a palm tree on the gold sand while tasting a strawberry daikiri!
In a nutshell, the Mayan Riviera is a place I'll always remember. My question is: What are you waiting for a visit to paradise!
