You are students who have enrolled in an English course in London. You have just met and start learning about each other. Talk about:

why you're there & why you're learning English
your learning experiences and when you started
what you would like to get out of: this trip, the course and/or visiting London

Learning to think in terms of FUNCTIONS. Brainstorming. Some ideas on language functions: giving info about yourself & your experiences, talking about past habits and events, hypotheses, talking about future plans and intentions, checking people understand what you're saying.
