Here a selection of sentences, expressions, phrasal verbs... from Michelle's November [2008] letters. Enjoy it!!!!!!!
- poor answer to a big issue - to be trapped in your shyness - to be self-centered - to decide to paint the town red - to feel overhelmed - to talk something over - to laugh one's head off - to jump onto the arena - to be stuck on something - to jot down names on a list - let's cross our fingers - you need to see the forest and avoid getting lost because you focused too much on each tree - to cheer up - have a non-gloomy Sunday - to freak out - there was not a trace of resent or rebuke - in a nutshell - it doesn't make it all a big hassle - I'd rather not use up - it simply sprang up - to keep something at bay - to be ground to dust - to rip my ear off - to get out of hell - to feel on top of things - Was that you? (subject that) - killing two birds with a stone - just for the kicks - I had been getting hints - to bring something up - to pin something somewhere - gotta go (+ her invention, gotta fly, which should be gotta rush, but what the hell!)- to walk in people's shoes - to chase somebody around with no mercy - to be/get carried away - to be pissed off...
