A Traffic Incident Provokes a Traffic Accident
by Anastasia (Avanzado 2, 2008-2009)

Introduction: As a witness of the accident that happened in España Avenue on the 31st January 2009, I decided to write this report so that the police can have an accurate description of the events to assess the facts.

The incident: I was having a cup of coffee on the terrace of Smith's when I heard the screeching of brakes and tires. It came from two cars that nearly crashed. One of the drivers involved got out of his red Skoda. He was shouting with rage at the man at the wheel of a white Peugeot who seemed to be regretful, as he apologized. Then the furious man let him go and got into his car.

The accident: The incident had drawn my attention so I kept looking at the cars as they drove away. In a few seconds the Skoda had caught up the Peugeot. And the Skoda driver, with a gun in his hand, shot the other as he drove along and then drove away cowardly. The Peugeot door glasses smashed into pieces. The man although unwounded, lost control of his car and crashed into an empty Fiat parked in the street.

Consequences: Despite my state of shock I managed to jot down the license plate of which was CAM 1234. The waiter of Smith's called the police immediately and both of us rushed to help the man. The Fiat and Peugeot were almost totally wrecked. Both the police and an ambulance reached the place in fifteen minutes to successfully assist the man who, still shaken, luckily had only minor injuries.
